Sounds awesome. My gf is not a fan of videogames but I can watch series with her. She knows comics, videogames, movies and series are a part of me and she is interested what it's all about. When she goes to sleep she tells me to play a few rounds (currently smite) because she knows I really want to.

Thanks. She really is. It kinda proves to me that I don't need a gamergirl as long as I can have a loving and caring gf who actually gives a shit about me and the stuff I'm passionate about. The same goes for her as well. You don't need to have the exact same hobbies. It's kinda stupid. But if the person likes exactly the same stuff as you and has other redeeming qualities. Well, you're lucky. ^^

Probably for the same reason I commented on it the way I did. It sounded flippant and off-handed. Then again, this is FunnyJunk so who knows with these people.

I guess it depends on the extent of the bullying. If it's constant messaging or emails that's just harassment and can be blocked or avoided. If someone has something embarrassing of you and spreads it via the internet that can have a much greater impact. At the same time however, don't do something stupid and this shit won't happen. To that end I believe we both have valid points.

We do both have valid points, what I fail to grasp however, is why, on a comment thread of people saying that cyberbullying is a load of crap, my comment to the same effect was met with such negativity. confusing

Having sex is getting fucked for a few minutes. Getting bullied is getting fucked for months, years or even your entire life.

The point of the analogy was that in pornography, the gratification and feeling are the same, but because its on a computer, it would be laughable to claim that you'd had sex or even seen a woman naked. In the same way, when bullying occurs, its a serious issue, but on a computer its not the same thing. You can turn off a computer, you can block people, change accounts. Its laughable to claim you've been bullied because it happened on a screen, just as its laughable to claim to have had sex when you've only seen it on screen
