Except that's not true.
America has best surgeons in the world, and not best surgeons average, just the best ones. And some of the american hospitals, for profit ones, have the best possible equipement. That's why people from across the world come to america. They don't go to Chicago general, they go to Mayo.
That's like having a football team with two amazing players and rest of them being meh at best. A team filled with all good players but no amazing ones will smash them.
American general practicioners are among worst in the developed world. American treatment of chronic diseases is subpar.
In your second post you say its indisputable fact that USA has the best healthcare. Really?
Indisputable, really? That's not what... well anyone outside of USA conservatives think.

apparently you work in some Japanese Honibru kitchen. I am a chef and have been so for 5 years. not all places only have 2 chefs in disposal in the kitchen.
"Clock in and clock out" factory style isn't necessarily what a "shift" is. It means you work a certain period of the day like morning-late afternoon/early evening and early afternoon-closing up for the night.
so before you start criticizing other people and claim they have no knowledge of the subject make sure you have the knowledge. some restaurants with few workers in disposal and low budget or family-only businesses usually have the system you describe or the places with very low work morale with a 3rd world legal system.
Next to all work places, if you work professionally you need to know your rights and not be bossed around to stay longer than required by you. sure there are times with 14 hours, but that is called "Overtime". Not all places have that dictatorship system. some places actually work in code with health and safety rules.

depends on how much they have to do with the place, yes most work on salary, but they wouldn't stay over if they arenot required to, like until every dish is washed(they have managers for a reason, Not saying that the chef isn't one but again if they aren't they don't have to stay. he'll the chefs i used to deal with it was a craps shoot if you could find the fuckers
