if she had really killed stannis, they would not have cut away from the shot. When have they ever been like "you don't need to see this gore," unless they did not actually die?
Stannis is confirmed dead
How about the time when a certain major character from the first season gets his head chopped off?
we saw his fucking head on a spike, i think he is pepsi
Oh him? Pfft, he's not dead.== SHITSHITSHITSHITSHIT==

I guess I'm the only one who fucking love the stannis in the show.
The entire winterfell thing kinda went down like this in my mind:
1: Try and ask Jon for help rallying the north, Jon says no being a cunt as his "father"
2: Decides to ride for winterfell anyway
3: le 20 good men
4: being the man he is, decides to walk on anyway, even with must of his shit being fucking burned (dat foreshadowing)
5: Realizes that his only way of winning, may cost him his daughter, decides to sacrifice her for the better of the land, wasn't easy for him either.
6: even fucking melly sandra leaves him, his fucking red priest. What does the fucker do? He marches on.
7: Finally attacks winterfell. Fucking horse men attack him. He is atleast outmatched 4:1, and they have horses. What does fucking stannis the mannish do?! Draw his sword and looks badass as fuck
8: it's a fucking slaughter, must men dead. But he doesn't rest, he fucking walks on, killing two Bolton soldiers.
9: Brienne of fucking Tarth finds the stanninator, and tells him who she is, and why she is about to kill him. What does he say?
"Go on. Do your duty".
tl;dr I fucking love stannis in the show, cause he is relentless, and never once gives up on his plans.
Yeah but he's supposed to be a great general and king, but he just slogs through to WInterfell basing his whole campaign on the fact that his sacrifice is enough for the god of light.
I also don't think he's dead but we'll see.
Hate to break it to you, but the writers are working very closely with Martin. And that march on Winterfell is basically being sustained by Stannis' self-righteousness and shit-all else. I love him, but he's just as doomed in the next book as he was in the show.
working closely how? they've already said they are going two different paths to roughly the same end. In the books, shireen, stannis, and many other "dead characters" are still alive and fairly well.
but in the books there are so many factions fighting in the battle of ice it is unclear who will win. but what ever the course the boltons are alone and will surly lose
- it cut away before she hit anything, thus Stannis can still be alive
it happens one chapter...
>She swung at head/neck level
>He couldn't walk
>was surrounded by boltons and most/all of his men were dead
> There is literally no reason for her not to kill him
> In the next scene she's cleaning blood off of her sword.
>I believe there's some sort of offical website which confirms his death, and last i checked people killed by beheading can't be brought back to life
I'm pretty sure we don't see Brienne after the scene with Stannis.
