They even use two people to carry it, the sniper and his spotter, plus, the bullet drops too fast, it's ment to destroy tanks and bunkers, not infantry!

Exactly. People is what the .408 Cheytak is for. Past five hundred yards, the .408 round flies straighter and truer than the .50 caliber round.

Though there are no maps where people are shooting a quarter of a mile, so, I guess that's not entirely relevant to the gameplay.

Praise Jesus you have common sense! The thing weights thirty pounds, and the military requirement for firing such a weapon is either prone or crouched so that you can be stable (Unless of course it's mounted).
