Honestly, I wouldnt even call that restoration. I would call it stripping.

A restoration is to make something as it was historically; instead, they removed everything authentic about the weapon but the metal, and possibly wood, itself and just went "fuck it; "functional" is the same as "historically accurate, right?".

Bothers the hell out of me.

That weapon has no bluing.

That weapon looks to have a very clean stock.

Meaning that rifle is either a reproduction or a disgustingly thorough "restoration".

Any historical meaning that rifle had is now 100% gone. All you have left is a M98 action, 8mm rifle. Not a historical weapon.

I'd go with restoration. I remember a thread on /k/ where the dude that bought it mentioned something about a very, very bad restoration work. I could be wrong, though.

Most of your friends live in the past. They probably all still think dependency on Social Security and Medicaid is a good thing and will be there when the new generation retires. smh, all your arguments are predicated that all women take your moral viewpoint and subjective views of your peers as evidence that all men are shitty for wanting a woman to have an abortion or a woman wanting one as well. Just really? Really? It's 16 and legal to have sex in GA. Man, a 16 year old sure has a stable job and a good head on their shoulders to be a parent.
#40 - kaizokuspy (03/16/2015) [-]
Man has no say if a woman should keep the baby or not. If she wants to abort, that is entirely up to her. It's common sense. You can't force me to undergo physical changes for 9 months, being put out of work if I were a woman. It's silly. It also has a severe economical impact on America. Welfare, entitlements, SNAP/EBT. If you are prolife you should pay for all the mothers medical needs and reconstructive surgery after she gives birth. Adopt the child and pay for its care. If you aren't prepared to pay for every single aborted baby to term (minimum 18 years) then you have no say in this argument as it is stupid. It's 2015. If the man wants a baby, simplest thing to do is go have a baby with someone who wants to keep it. You can find that out by just having a conversation. Retard.

sidenote: I have 7 sisters. Not a feminist by any means, but come on. This argument is beating a dead horse and only slows the progress our country makes.

So, you skimmed over what I said, gave no attention to it, made the same argument the other guy did (except for the economic part, but hey, old people and cripples are also expensive, but let's ignore that) and that I refuted, and yet you called me a retard. Good job, you should try a political job, you'd be a great politician.
User avatar #31 - alfibrakiz (03/16/2015) [-]
That is not what I said at all. I'm just saying that having a baby is a huge responsibility, and sex is a very basic need that everyone wants to fulfill. If you get sloppy once, that shouldn't impact your whole life. Also, there are not many cases where a man wants her to keep the baby. If you want a kid, have a kid with someone else who wants it, it's not that hard.
User avatar #33 - GIJorge (03/16/2015) [-]
"If you get sloppy"

How do you just "get sloppy"? It involves taking no pill, not using condom or any other of the fuckhuge number of contraceptives that exist, having sex and then not even taking the day-after pill. "Getting sloppy" doesn't cut it as an excuse. And the "but the condom broke, and I didn't feel it" thing is total bullshit. I had a condom break when having sex, and both me and her felt it. And even if your dick is so numb and her cunt so dried up that you don't feel a condom breaking, when you take it off you can notice it's broke y the fact that it now looks all torn and shredded.

"there are not many cases where a man wants her to keep the baby"
But there are. And there's more of them than there's girls. Mainly because it makes sense that a man wants to keep it, but let's not go into a biological argument, for the argument's sake.
And I'm not talking in the case you want a child, so you just go and make one. I'm talking about the cases where you don't, but one comes either way. Most (if not most, a lot) of men will want to keep it.

Oh, ok. Never knew that stuff still existed. Here, if you do that, you're forced to take a DNA test to prove it. And then EVERYONE the girl had sex with must do the test, to find out who is.

I once knew a case of a girl (17, I think) that had to do that. She took 18 or 19 men to the clinic for the exam. The nurse asked her "is this everyone you had sex with?" The reply? "Yeah, at least that I can remember". I almost laughed like an idiot when I was told that.

No, it's to slow the economic impact of unwanted children being born in broken homes to unprepared parents. Go look up the statistics 10 years after abortion was legalized. You will see crime rates greatly reduce. Entitlement programs not being used so much..etc.etc.

>most men would prefer it if women carried out their pregnancy

lol, wut.

I think girls should be able to have an abortion for whatever reason they like. If they got sloppy and ended up pregnant (have several friends who's done this) they should just take an abortion. People shouldn't look at abortions as something tabu or major thing.
User avatar #30 - GIJorge (03/16/2015) [-]
>lol wut

Either you don't talk about this stuff a lot with your friends, or you have pretty careless, shitty friends. Most men I know of, opposed the abortion bill when it came. And most men my age (friends, and even from my uni, where I had to do research about the general opinion towards abortion) felt like it was a terrible idea and that people should own up to their responsibilities.

So your female friends are sluts, careless and stupid. And you're a cuck. I don't love to go ad hominem, but holy fuck, dude. So your only argument towards abortion is "lol womin are stoopid and careless and sloppy and shouldn't need to be responsible". Jesus.

Same where I'm from. Men are forced to acknowledge the baby, and support it financially (at least) until they stop studying. So if you don't want a baby, and get one, you're stuck with having to pay for it even if it decides to study until he's 30.

User avatar #25 - GIJorge (03/16/2015) [-]
What you are trying to say is irrelevant. The idea of an abortion is (most of the times, rape babies and such were already allowed to be aborted were I'm from) 5to ditch responsibility. Sex = babies. That's it. Sex + condom = 3% chance of getting babies, give or take. If you are having sex, you should be aware of the fact that babies are a very real outcome Shit happens, rubbers brake, pills fail. Well, that's why if you're having sex you should know it can have repercussions. And abortion is just the simplest way of going: "Thank god I don't have to be responsible. Responsibility for my own actions blows!". And the best part? Males don't need to consent having their baby destroyed. And a lot of men actually would prefer it if women carried out their pregnancy.
But what happens if the opposite is true? A man doesn't want a baby, woman does. Then, the man should simply be allowed to walk out, no questions asked, no responsibility for the child or mother. It's only fair that if women get their "freedom to chose", so should men.
