yeah these type of 'stoners' piss me off. ive been smoking for about 4 years now and these buttholes give us actual stoners (i.e. those who smoke to relax and joke around with friends as opposed to using it as a means of gaining facebook likes) a bad name.

Funnyjunk is extremely pro-pot, dude. Haven't you ever seen the legalization posts? Hell, it has an entire channel dedicated to it. I believe you're getting thumbed down more because you're being viewed as doing the exact same thing that the girl in the post is doing (i.e. "I've smoked weed for 4 years now").

you know i guess youre right about that part it was kind of a non sequitur, although it seemed to fit into my point at the time. funnyjunk is incredibly divided when it comes to pot as pot content tends to be thumbed whereas comments about it tend to get the usual hurr durr 420 blaze it faggot reponses ( generally due to faggots such as the woman in this pic) . let me start again and hopefuly i can illustrate my original point better. I agree. I think there's a huge difference between people who smoke occasionally and recreationally, and the people who smoke "because they need it to feel good", like the girl in the post. Especially people who feel the need to show it off like it makes them cool.

yeah generally i just refrain from ever commenting about weed because as you say its a fuckfest. i just thought id try to make the point that we arent all as bad as this bitch. Funnyjunks attitude towards pot just annoys me sometimes especially considering its attitude to alcohol (the two are pretty close substitutes in my mind at least, it just comes down to tastes& preferences)is overwhelmingly postive.

I think sites like Facebook have made everyone (including myself) bitter. I can't go a single day without posting weed movement and pot shit all the time, like legalization is the single most important issue we face right now. Whenever someone comments, we all automatically turn to our instinctual insult brain. At the typical funnyjunker age (12-18), it's hard to find someone who genuinely smokes recreationally instead of to either look cool or escape their problems in the real world.

I agree with you in every which way and form. I don't go on Reddit. I tried and the system is too complicated for me. I like FJ where I can just quickly scroll through pictures and get a little smile or chuckle. I also have to agree with you about the Christian thing. It has gotten better, but I like the Christian jokes as much as the next person, but there's making a joke about it and then there's just out-right bashing it. I've seen too much front-page content that does the latter.

Other than that, I've seen some very respectable members, and I almost never fail to smile at some of the content.
