I have a windows phone. And I mostly agree with you.....but the truth is, after having Windows for the last ~2 years or so, I keep getting burned by the lack of apps.

I moved and changed jobs. Now I take the train into work. The train company introduced an app that lets you buy tickets online. It's great. But no app for windows phone and no website I can use instead.

Same deal with parking. If I had an android phone, I could park, and pay for it while I walk to the train. Nothing for Windows Phone though, so I have to pull up their website, designed for desktops and fight with it to accept payment.

Sometimes I am able to download the WP version of an app, only to find out it sucks compared to the Android / iOS version. I get access to one of those 'educational video sites' from my work and it works like crap on Windows Phone. It plays the video, but that's it. It doesn't remember what I've watched or show my history, but it all works great in Android and iOS.

Then, the company I ended up working for, they have a special app to access their e-mail, for security reasons. It creates like a sandbox on the phone and keeps the mail encrypted. The company that makes the product says it works on Windows Phone, but nobody can actually get it to work. We've been waiting weeks for their tech support to fix it or tell us what to do. But everyone on Android and iOS - it just works.

Most recently, I bought a 'smart tv'. And if I had Android or iOS, it's super easy to display pictures or videos from my phone to my TV. Doesn't work for Windows Phone though.

I don't care much about apps and I don't care at all about games. Windows Phone is pretty awesome. But it's so far behind the others that I'm getting rid of it. More and more things are going to integrate with our phones and Windows Phone is just an afterthought for these companies. I don't want to have to choose a TV based on what smartphone I own, etc, etc....

For me, I'm fine with using a clicker (I don't even watch TV anymore outside of my computer), I can buy movie tickets online before I leave versus on the way, or for transportation.

But if it's a workplace issue, THAT'S a legitimate grievance, and don't fault you for getting rid of it as a result. Hey, if I need a specific app that's not available, I usually just pop my sim in my Android phone or iOS device, whichever is closer.

Well yes, it's subjective, but very common apps such as Snapchat or even Steam aren't supported by it.

How's Windows 10 doing for you?

Snapchat doesn't bother me. I don't use it and personally I find it a rather moot point since you can do pretty much everything on it with instagram or your native messaging app. That's just a personal opinion, though. More and more apps are coming every week since Win 10 Mobile's debut, so that's kinda nice for those on the outside.

Windows 10 Mobile is pretty damn nice actually. Very clean and mature-looking. It's going through its growing pains with bugs having to be ironed out, but no different than Android did when Android Lollipop and Marshmallow dropped. I really like it, save for the occasional hiccup. Hence I reflash my phone from time to time. I also have a couple other phones of the different OS's so I can switch to whatever suits my fancy, but so far, I'm still partial to windows.

For YOU maybe. I found all I need and the phone does what I want it to better than iOS or Android.

Individual results may vary.

remember, cats have spikes on their dicks facing backwards, so it hurts the female to pull it out.
