Alright, so let me break it down for you bro. Most of the VAs in English dubs probably could not give a rats ass about the series, they're getting paid pretty shittily as it's not really a career unless you're like one of ~10 people who have nearly orgasmic voices which make fanboys and girls alike squeel in delight and wet their power ranger blankets at night. Now Japanese voice acting is srs business and for the most part it shows. Also the casting for english dubs is quite possibly the worst thing ever 99.9999% of the time. I can think of maybe 4-5 dubs which I actually enjoy. Only 2 which I enjoyed more than the japanese versions.
TLR: Ey bbgurl, Japanese voice actors get paid more and it shows and they don't cast the rolls terribly except on rare occasions in which case they blow it. Have a swell night.

I find this information to be very biased.

It may be true that American VA's don't really care much about
whatever anime they're dubbing,but that doesn't keep them from doing their job correctly.Now I will agree with you that there are a lot of bad dubs out there,but that
doesn't mean you should assume all these negative things,like the process of how they pick english VA's,or how you think everyone hates the dubs that you hate.

i've seen a lot worse, and soul eater's voice actor is pretty good.

I only really enjoyed Maka's voice, despite how weird it was.

Yeah it was pretty weird, i still dont like the way they aimed a show about murder and insanity at kids for the anime.

I should probably read the manga considering they are nearly always 1000000x better and I've never met someone who didn't agree that the manga for soul eater was better than the anime. But either way, the anime was not enjoyable at all for me. I've tried watching it several times and only gotten as far as ep 8 or so.

The manga is easily far better, and it's the best manga i have ever read.

Which just goes to show that the only manga you read are terrible ones.

Completely agree. Hughes death is the saddest thing i have ever seen in anime. Not even clannad can take the number 1 spot in this list. In brotherhood it wasnt that bad since they rushed through the beginning.
