| People only give it crap because they don't know what the hell they're talking about. It's an amazing jet with some insane technology in it. I worked A-10 Warthogs for two years before I came to this jet so I have a frame of reference on just how insane this thing really is. Isn't as tough as a Warthog, but the classified systems on the F-35 are awesome. Shit I never would have imagined was possible. So trust me, it's a badass jet. If we ever get into another real war with another country that has more modern technology, it'll be one of the machines that wins the war for us. Would you happen to have any thoughts about the F-22, as well? People have said that it is supposed to be a worthwhile plane, but I can't see that, considering how the F-22 was designed to go up against what the USSR had in store at the time of the Cold War when it was designed. With no guns and yet a basis around air-to-air, as well, it just sounds like a weird plane to have in the Air Force. If the F-22 has the same technology in it that the F-35 has, it doesn't need a gun. Besides, guns are better for air-to-surface than air-to-air anyway. Dogfights are a thing of the past. If it has the same technology, why was the program canceled in favor of the F-35? I've always assumed it was because of unit costs and then being able to have the entire military form around the backbone of a single plane, but I don't see the benefits. I also can't recall any specs like speed and stuff, so I'm pretty lost. F-22 was too expensive. Dual-engine jets are more expensive than single-engine ones. For a frame of reference, the engine alone on the F-35 costs $30 million. Now imagine two of those. Dual-engine setup is faster and more reliable, but more expensive. Not to mention the 22's thrust vectoring system is badass, but really expensive. And all it does is air-to-air, no air-to-surface. F-35 does both. Plus the STOVL variant will be awesome for CAS. Faster reaction time than a helicopter, but it doesn't have to make several passes like a regular CTOL jet. F-22 is faster and the thrust vectoring makes it more maneuverable, but like I said, dogfighting is dead. It's about costs and flexibility, both of which the 35 has over the 22. I can't really go much more into it, since there's a lot of classified stuff about this jet. But the classified technology is absolutely insane. I never thought I would hear the "I can't tell you any more than this, it's classified." That's pretty amazing, though. I'd never heard much about the two engine thing, but I see immediately why that's true. I really appreciate telling what you have about the jet. It's something that I've long held an interest in, being all the amazing stuff it can do. I've always had an interest in military technology, because it's always the leading edge in the development of technology itself, it seems. I hear that BMW rolled out a prototype visor system that lets the driver look through parts of the car for blind spots much like the F-35 does. Pretty amazing stuff. Yeah, same thing with the F-15 and F-16. F-15 is a lot faster since it has two engines, whereas the 16 only has one. True, look what WWII brought us. Jet engines, nuclear power, etc. I wouldn't be surprised. On the F-35 it's called DAS - Distributed Aperture System. It's pretty badass. Each helmet costs about $300,000 though. But if they could put it in cars it could eliminate blindspots. | ||

anon (12/20/2015) [-] I watched the first episode... All i could says was, "What the fuck... This girl is way to obsessed with owning that guy." Which monogatari first episode? You should start with bakemonogatari, then nisemonogatari and then I don't know which follows... >Being turned on by loli version of Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade >Being a non-degenerate Choose one. So you're saying it wouldnt be okay to want to fuck perfectly proportioned midgets? Children and people who look like children are two different things. The major point is the only reason she has the body of a child in that manga/anime is purely to cater to lolicons. This is irrefutable. Loli should not be encouraged. | ||

This isn't the fixed verison, I should've mentioned that.
The fixed one will be done sometime tomorrow - It was quadruple the amount of polygons, and being rendered by a single 4GHz 8 core.
