CAT6 is neat.
I'll love the day when I can upgrade everything to accept it.
My shit is outdated.
yo whats cat6 and how come you're in every comment section on every post everywhere
CAT6 is the newest type of ethernet cable.
It's exponentially faster than CAT5. It's also flat instead of round so it's easier to manage.
I live on Funnyjunk because I'm disabled. I don't work. I have a broken back.
thanks for the info man, sorry about your back also
That sucks, is there anything you can do about it?
I get a procedure done called a Radio Frequency Ablation every 9 months to a year.
I also take opiate pain killers.
The RFA is used to turn off the branch nerves in the spine so they don't send a pain signal.
As for actually fixing it, there's nothing they can do yet. Stem cell therapy seems promising though.
i'm sorry to hear that, i hope the treatment is going well though.
were you born that way or?
January 4th 2012.
My youngest son was born 4 months prior. I picked him up out of his play-pen and I tore a spinal disc in my lumbar doing it.
Didn't start doing physical therapy or pain management until 2 years ago.
So now I have 3 messed up discs. L5 is bulging. L4 is torn and has a bone spur. L3 is compressed and has a minor tear.
Until stem cell therapy becomes mainstream, I deal with chronic pain.
wow im sorry to hear that
how bad is it like can you move around at all or are you in a wheelchair or?
I can move around no problem. Very slightly diminished movement, but I've been super flexible my entire life, so I'm still more flexible than your average person.
I'm not allowed to lift more than 25 pounds.
I'm not paralyzed at all, but if I damage it further; I could be.
Worst thing is any sort of exercise or manual labor causes immense pain and stiffness.
If I were to use a 1-10 pain scale; It's a constant 5 with spikes up to 8.
(Kidney stones are a 10, and I deal with those too)
oh man sorry to hear that bro but i'm very happy for you you're not paralyzed, i've always thought that to be the worst thing that could happen to somebody. please be careful, take care of yourself and i hope in the near future they hit you up with the stem cell treatment
Thanks for the enough.
Sorry for your back, but isn't there something you can do that's mostly requires mental skills? Like programming, web design, etc...
There's a few things that are possible, but they require a degree most of the time.
I'm working on getting back into school.
On top of the back problems, I've got suicidal depression that wasn't under control until early this year. It's been a rough ride. I'm doing better though. Hopefully in spring I'll get back into college for the first time since 2006.
