There were some good pointers, im in a rough patch in life, but i want to get my own place and make cosplay, im good at it and i look good enough to pull some stuff off.

I'm not saying that I hate these posts. I really like them and they give great tips on how to look good in the real world. But some of these comments made by FJers make me think they never actually have had to dress up in their lives.
Shorter pants have been around since 1920's and have looked good. Early 1990's made the "baggy" pants look trendy. Everything comes full circle but some dorks think it still looks cool. Personally I hate the 90's style but whatever, my opinion.
It's just annoying being told by some cuck that doesn't understand what the majority of people at this time find attractive is what's in. It always changes over time anyways.
But over the edge hipster shit is just as bad as nerds with no fashion sense.
Learn to make your own style based off what you see is appealing to others.
