Anal sex doesn't have a higher chance of spreading disease. Not using a condom does. Gay sex has no chance of pregnancy, therefor people are less likely to use a condom. You point is flawed as heterosexual sex doesn't directly involve the use of protection and therefor is at the same level of risk as gay sex.

After the spread of AIDS in the gay community a lot of them have woken up and started using protection. But the spread was mostly due to drug use in the "club scene" of the gays. You don't think to use protection when you're high off your mind. But that's also gotten better too. While yes it's a dirty hole to go into, that doesn't give any argument against lesbians either or homosexual couples were one has undergone the surgery to have a vagina.

But honestly, that IS the best argument I've heard. Which is sad really. But I mean with heterosexual sex you KNOW what you're getting into, wrap up, use protection against STDS and pregnancies. So you have to just assume that the gay community is as well knowledgeable enough to use the same protection for themselves.
