Conversions are easy and 75% of the world uses the Metric system, just becasue you can divide a whole by more parts doesnt make it easier. yes the metric uses units of 1, 10, 100, but we also use units of hlafs like .5, 5, 50 and also every mm in between, a standard ceiling in Australia is 2.4 M or 2400 mm for those of us builders. Its not hard at all to convert what pisses me off is the 2 socket sets I need to work on my cars and projects depending on were the part was made for. By making measurement a singular common would make everything easier, and most mathematical problems arent solved with fractions but rather whole numbers, ie 1 div 3 + 0.33333333 rec, not 0.3/4. What do you mean by Civil Engineering countries ? every country that has infrastructure has civil engineers, we here in Australia Engineer using the Metric system ?

Sorry about that. Civil engineers in America use hundreths of a foot. Also, your points make sense. But what makes me sad is that i got toenail clippinged down for stating my opinion with logical premise, rather thand "hurr durr metric system is best." I dont really give a shit about toenail clippings, but i care about the fact that people toenail clipping it down. What the hell.
