| "Very well. I agree to your terms." I say, taking the dice, turning them over inspecting them. "What can you tell me about these dice? What do they do?" "They will give you infinite wealth... for a small price. Ironic, I know, but that price is not in money but something much...much more." The hooded man disappears into the crowd leaving you with the golden dice, which beckon to be used by their new owner. Golden Dice >Activate (1/quest) - Roll six dice using "roll 6, 0-5" and gain d'jay equal to the total. For each 0 you roll, you gain 1 "mark of corruption." >You suffer the following effects while you have a "mark of corruption." >3 or more marks - You cannot make Critical Hits and are immune to the Unfailing buff. > 5 or more marks - Every successful hit against you is a Critical Hit. > 7 or more marks - You cannot gain HP or MP during a Quest for any reason. > 9 or more marks - You suffer from Cripple, Fear, and Fatigue. > More than 10 marks - You are Slain at 0 HP or MP, rather than Unconscious > You lose 1 "mark of corruption" after each quest. | ||

| "What do I desire most in this world? Why that's obvious, it's... it's..." Wait... what do I want most in the world? I have been travelling for quite some time now, but where have I been going? What have I been fighting for? The question hit me like a hammer. Ever since I ran away, I've only sought to explore the lands. This was a question I had no answer to. "Power, I wish to have the power to continue my journey, so that I may find what it is I desire in this world." "If you so desire it i offer you these..." The hooded man reaches out his right arm and opens his hand to reveal six golden dice. "the owner of these can obtain immense power and acquire the fortunes they seek." he smirks," i just hope you can be as strong as you truly believe yourself to be." sorry i took a while. moved back home for the winter from school "Very well. | His words take me by surprise. Me? Not the strongest? Was there another here in this town stronger than me? I look around quickly amongst the crowds. Commoners, mulling about with their families. Diplomats of various countries, wearing the masks of politicians, complimenting one another excessively. A tall, masculine, knight in unscathed armor, muttering something of potions. Other than some fellow adventurers, there didn't seem to be anyone I could make out to be of a worthy strength as mine. I can greet his speech with only suspicion, such as any would other an unsettled price. "Very well, the price shall be negotiated at a later time. What is it you are offering? If your goods are for the strongest, then am I, the great Canic Haikait, not most qualified for such a good?" #770 -
anon (12/11/2015) [-] "NEGOTIATED? whoever said there will be a negotiation? The price is always set... If you truly think of yourself able to bare with what I can give you then answer me this.. What is it you desire most in the world?" The crowds buzzing becoming ever louder. The hooded man glares at the far off knight muttering of potions and turns his attention back to you. | You wouldn't want to be a full-fledged, money-driven charecter? You and I could get up to such antics. Being a full-fledged character could be fun but I do like playing from the sidelines a bit. maybe one day I will join but for now I will sit and have my fun by playing around with your guys' characters from the side. Do like the money driven part though and oh do i love causing a stir with some antics | ||
