anon (05/14/2014) [-] yeah cause arrested developments 4th season turned out so great right? no, it was never the same. and this show was destined to die off before its time with the lose of troy, such a major character to the show/plot. i havent watched since a few episodes after troy left but i could already tell it wasnt the same. so if you guys did manage to pull this off, it wouldnt be the same. the quality would be sufficently lower then the original 3 seasons, let alone the entire show at this point. if i remember correctly even directors changed? #84 -

lordinglipshall (05/13/2014) [-] usually with these kind of shows its not the fans that no longer want to watch it but the people making/writing/acting want to explore other concepts. even if they would get it back on the road it might not be the same...because of directors/writers being differen't.  It sounds like it's probably not gonna happen, sadly. I was reading, and apparently Harmon wants to move on and focus on something else, allegedly Sony isn't interested in shopping it around, and Hulu has the rights to stream the earlier seasons, which means it'll be difficult to get their competitors(like Netflix) to take it, but Hulu doesn't really have the money to efficiently produce a 6th season, all of which is a bummer. But...fuck it. Who knows what could happen. Maybe it'll happen. Just sayin', is all. | ||
