Irregardless; the developers have contracts with individual distributors. These contracts ensure that the money is divided a certain way. Yes, the developer gets their money regardless of who sells it, but the distributor loses money if they null out a contract just so that you can play a game on another console.

That's called economy.

i'm not talking about who is making the games. i'm talking about who is SELLING the games. there is a difference. Naughty Dog doesn't directly sell the games to the customer, they need a console provider and a store to sell said games in (gamestop, target, walmart, etc....) if one of those stores somehow got the rights to certain games/game companies to have their games only sold through that specific provider, than the provider will increase profit by a lot because of the exclusivity.
#25 - should they be exclusive to a single store too?  [+] (4 new replies) 11/29/2013 on Mario on PlayStation -2
User avatar #26 - topoftherock (11/29/2013) [-]
i didn't mention stores. then again i wouldn't put that above gamestop. actually that is interesting. gamestop would definitely make more money and shutout competition if you could only get certain games at their stores.

Fps. You can play solo but it's very focused on teamwork and co-op. And the community is very good at team working as well. Especially on higher difficulties with more skilled players. The game also features a level/perk system with each perk specializing in a certain area and a certain type of weapons.
