I am pretty sure than the Megalodon's had one driver in each ear cup, while the Tiamat 7.1's have 5 in each ear cup.

I've never tried the Megalodon's, but I do really wanna try the Tiamat 7.1's.

I love my Astro A40's, but they are only 5.1 so I'm going to replace them soon. Probably with just a headset for my computer since I don't play xbox anymore. I've tried out most of the major headsets and I have to say that Astro's are the most comfortable imo.

Also, Astro has the best customer service...ever...My warranty ran out over 2 years ago and when ever something happens like a screw falls out, I drop them and they stop working, the MixAmp breaks, they have always replaced it. It's awesome.

customer service sounds pretty amazing from astro now that you say that. i still have warranty on mine but when it runs out and they break i guess i know i wont be screwed over
