Yeah, I said that with the assumption that his moveset would stay the same. No point in keeping a character as a clone when they could easily have their own unique moveset Ganondorf but I'd be fine with him staying separate if they at least "Luigi-fy" him.

I was dreading Roy's return at first because we already had a Marth clone and didn't need a second one. But after playing him in his newfound glory, I love it. He's better than Marth now and arguably one of the best sword users in the game. Lucina was unnecessary, honestly. I understand the process of her being included, but now FE has as many reps as Pokemon does, and something doesn't seem right about that. But I doubt she'll have her own slot in the next game, so it's not too big a deal. She and Dark Pit (and possibly even Dr Mario) will probably go back to being alt skins like originally planned.

In regard to that last part, I honestly hope that Dark Pit will still be a separate character in the next iteration, but with a more distinguishable moveset. In KI:A, he has his own unique weapon, and a very different fighting style when compared to Pit. He's more about long-range, low-curve, slow-fire-rate yet fast-moving shots, or beating foes with what is essentially a bo staff when in close quarters. Plus, his flight ability and mobility is better, in there. He could have played very differently, but it seems Sakurai just rushed him for the sake of having him.
