So fat retarded cripples should be paying the same insurance costs as young, fit, able-bodied men?
What you're advocating for is socialized medicine, not insurance.

Well yeah, that's what I said. I don't really see all that much of a difference between the nazis rounding up the physically and mentally disabled, and putting them in forced labor camps, and executing them when they couldn't work anymore, and the americans putting them into indentured servitude with mountains of healthcare bills until they kill themselves to save their families from the suffering.

They haven't changed that for teenagers/new drivers yet though. The males still pay more than the female.

if they went from 900 to 750, no. The probably still can't walk. And the constant pain of hunger can drown any sense of enthusiasm pretty damn fast.

"She?" may need to seek help from a doctor if it is that bad, though.

That's true, if you are so far gone that even after losing 150, you are still too fat to walk, then that attitude would make sense, but anyone else would feel like they got a new lease on life, and I'm speaking from first hand experience here, I was 300, I lost 40 and I feel absolutely incredible, it is a world of difference, so losing more that 3 times that would be mind blowing, unless, as you said, their flesh has permanently melded into the couch cushions.

The same principal should be applied to health insurance. If somebody is born with a medical condition that causes them to need more medical treatment, then they have to pay more. I don't see why that shouldn't be extended to include the medical condition of "being a woman".

The very concept of insurance is like an emergency savings account. You put money into it and only take it out when the shit hits the fan and you need to take care of some major expense. Insurance is the same thing, except everyone pays into it so anyone can take care of their major expenses. It's supposed to distribute the costs so that things end up being cheaper for everyone when they need to use it. It's like a small scale, privatized, for profit, half-assed, and far more expensive version of what literally every country on earth except the US has, socialized healthcare, except with socialized healthcare, they actually try to make people healthy, but when medicine is a business, they try to milk sick people for every penny they and their loved ones will ever make for the rest of their lives, unless they would rather die because they can't afford to live.

But men pay more?

#148 - Daeiros (10/07/2016) [-]
Yes, men pay more for car insurance than women, and a few places in the world actually managed to pull their heads out of their asses long enough to realize that this is in fact a blatant ongoing violation of gender discrimination laws, and so they ended the practice, meaning that men's rates went down, and women's rates went up, meeting in the middle so that everyone is now paying the same price, but the total money collected stayed the same.

I mean, 'discrimination' on car insurance was based on ACTUAL accident rates and data. People statistically more likely to crash paid more. Not really seeing how that's inequality.

Because the same principle is not applied to health insurance, woman use the health care system WAY more than men, and yet men still pay the same amount as women, because the entire point of insurance is to crowdsource the costs

Well, agree or not (that is debatable) it is a human right at the moment, and it can't be tolerated that we apply them selectively. Either we do, or we don't, no half measures. And about the US and Russia, I can't express with words how mad I am at both countries: they've ruined an entire region (that was making progress towards a more modern way of life) and religion, by radicalising them and turning them to each other solely because of petty geopolitical interests. The politicians and generals who chose this deserve a special place in the darkest cells.

Oh absolutely, as bad as it sounds, it would actually be better if the US were actively annexing those countries into it's empire rather than simply knocking down their governments and then leaving. Being conquerors would be an improvement over being collapser
