Gen1 had simple designs in pokemons ,if anything gen5 is making more simpler designs, making gen 1 and 5 alike . The final evo of the ice cream kicks ass in battle .

i've noticed haters saying that gen 5 sucks and gen 1 was the best but sure charizard is awesome and yes trubish and vanite are derp but no generation is full of awesome. grimer sucked and im gonna say it but the original mewtwo from gen 1 that you caught at level 70 sucked balls. it wasnt until gen 5 wen he became awesome with psystrike.

have you seen the graphics? the game play? the battles? the music? sure a few pokemon are crap i'll give you that but that can be said for every generation. there are enough awesome pokemon to make a team and thats all that matters

Well the graphics and fighting system are dope as fuck now, you get a fullview of your pokemon, unlike other games where you only get the top half of your pokemon, and they're constantly moving during the fight. In double battles you can combine the attacks of your pokemon to create some ultra-nigger attack.
Sure, you have to stomach beating the game up to the elite 4 with the shitty gen V pokemon, but after that you can import your old team, and trust me, it's fucking worth it.
