It's midnight, so much tl;dr but I'll try.
I feel like a girl, that is literally all it is. I want to look like a girl, to be treated like one etc.

tl:dr you feel like a human, just like any other human, and there is nothing different or wrong about that. Its up to other people to treat you the way you want to be treated, though they should respect your choices. There is no such thing as being treated like a girl, as everyone treats people differently, do you want to be treated like a young girl, old girl, black girl, white girl, pretty girl, ugly girl, or any combination of the nine? Because the only thing that really is uniform between them is their being called ma'am at the store, and maybe a few dirty looks in the wrong neighborhood.

Thank you, and everyone else who commented. You're absolutely right down below at >>#54, this would have (And actually has) gotten me drowned in red thumbs just a year ago... And in a way, I understand how easily people could see the tumblr/SJW/feminazi gender stuff and form a pretty bad opinion of transsexuals based on what they see. Especially since this website was, last I heard, still at an average age of 18--I certainly came to a few rash conclusions in my 18-year-old opinions that I've since rethought. I'm really glad to see things changing a bit around here.

I came home and saw 11 notifications and thought 'Shit, here comes the flame war...' And was pleasantly surprised. This put me in a great mood. I know it's just some words on the internet, and I know my comment wasn't the sole instigator... But seeing the thumbs change direction, seeing all the support, and seeing that the conversations occurring are actually pretty level-headed is a REALLY nice feeling.

Hell, even a couple weeks ago I got drowned in red thumbs for bringing up the transbashing in some comment section. It wasn't even a rude comment, it was just more of a "hey guys, let's not be dicks."

If this is a sign of a bigger change, a positive one, then I'm happy.

26 strength means you can yell like a motherfucker, so its a rule blunder because he can be heard for that far, and anyone who hears him is charmed if not hostile.so basically its just {see image}

taverns knife + maxed strength + human woodworking = a crappy knife stuck in a good table a good four cm. Magical choker that emboldens those who hear the wearers rallying cries for battle, thus waking everyone on five city blocks and charming them to follow him to the keep. Guard was actually witchhunter and is more expensive to bribe.
Not only does this fit my lore, but is local to the adventures region.

Your loss, im running Darksprint anyway.

Except, what you usually do when you use the term 'good' on something, is compare and evaluate it. That's how you know a 'good' show from a bad.

For example, we can all agree that cigarettes aren't 'good' for you based on facts. They've got chemicals that fuck you up.

It's the same with shows. No one wants to watch 12 episodes of shit, and along the spectrum comes a whole bound of mid-tier shows that seem 'good'.

So what I do, is I take into account its popularity, evaluate the story, art, pacing, budget, etc, before I judge it.

Now, don't get me wrong. I'm not an asshole. I'm not going to say "your opinion is wrong, you shouldn't watch x and y because it's shit". No, all I'm saying, is that when addressing your opinion, use a set up that makes it clear it's your opinion.

"I think..."
"To me..."
"Personally..."

That's fine by me.

But the truth remains that NGNL is another sub-par adaptation of a light novel that has writing that is 'okay'. Japanese writers, animators, voice actors love love LOVE their clichés. Because it sells. And that's fine an'- dandy, but if you stuff yourself full of 'good' apples, they eventually come 'okay' compared to something like a chocolate flavoured apple.

I'm trying to use an example that doesn't make it seem like a strawnman argument - I'm not trying to dodge your point.

Attack on Titan, for example, >>to me<< is a bad show. I didn't like it. It wasn't my thing. But I can, from a criticizing standpoint, clearly say it's a good show. It provides a somewhat unique idea that became popular and allowed the anime community to bring in a n increased range of varied people, it could be watched by any and all sorts of teens - it had good dubs, with good quality streaming, and the company that made it monopolised well - lots of merchandise, the manga sold a bunch of copies, and it overall sits well into anime as a means of what 'good' anime should look like.

You're reading this and thinking "well you're just picky with your words".

Well yeah, I am.

I mean put it this way - if everything was based solely on aesthetics (your viewpoint), then critics would be pointless.

Critics are as pointless as art, it only matters to those who feel it matters, but i do agree with a lot of what you say, i still believe that everything anyone ever says regarding things of this nature is an opinion, therefore it doesnt need my clarification when i state an opinion. Its like you said; in factual cases this argument doesnt hold, but this isnt a factual field. writers like tropes because they like tropes, just like a lot of other people, while i do see it as lazy from a writing perspective, and boring from a viewer's perspective nobody can deny the fact that people like tropes as they make for a familiar and easy to follow story. the reason i think that ngnl is good is because it was the only anime to come out in the year it did that i watched all the way through, because nobody writes action well, In Japan or America, which is what i look for though i rarely search for anime . everything anyone has sent me has had no justified sense of danger and/or excitement with a cast that isnt maddening for the run of the show, has a setting i like, and has a plot that evolves in a manner i feel proper. I say pretty good because there are seven more adjectives to use before we start discussing my favorite anime. My favorite genre in thought would be mecha if there weren't only three stories for it, and they all take place in space. i didnt watch anime until about four or five years ago, and only do so now because of how much i had to define what i like so that i may filter the garbage that is released constantly. Also, if i wanted to read V-novels for entertainment i would read an actual book instead. Anime should be born from inspiration and aspiration, not greed and fan pandering. Also, you can argue aesthetics, you just do it more like this and less like "no". the fanservice what bad in ngnl meh , but the story had several beats that made me want to know the path the characters were taking and where it would lead ok . the dialogue was written well in enough parts that it gave a similar sense to death notes thinking action, and while it didnt do it as well, it didnt fail by over doing it in my eyes alright , im bad with the nitty gritty cultural stuff so i wouldnt know. the art style poped, and made me think of skyrim enbs, which i was playing at the time watchable , and i spent a good portion of my life as a neet so i resonated with the characters pretty good. . If we got a second season cementing the characters, upping the stakes, and expanding on the lore more would have put it at good for me if it didnt fly off the handle.
