Doesn't that apply to the 9/11 civilians too?
User avatar #1614 - CreativeCoding (06/29/2012) [-]
Of course. al-Qaeda was in the wrong too. But in the same way America was. I'm just saying the killing of 90,000 is a little more severe than 3,000.

These citizens would die for their country. Now remember America didn't start the war in the pacific, Japan did, and America retaliated accordingly. America nuked Japan when they realized that they wouldn't end the war by invading Japan. Invading the Japanese mainland was pretty much suicidal, so America decided to nuke Japan to keep American casualties low.
#1604 - anonymous (06/29/2012) [-]
US gave Japan Multiple Warnings of out intentions to destroy factories and everyone had a chance to get out if Japan wanted em to.
User avatar #1617 - CreativeCoding (06/29/2012) [-]
Well first of all, all they said was to surrender. The Japanese considered surrendering immoral and they will be punished in their next life. After the first nuke, a new warning was sent. "Surrender or receive immediate complete destruction" (paraphrasing).

Many of the public were sorta brainwashed into thinking the west was a bad place. The Japanese military scared people by saying the west would enslave and rape them so that more people would join and fight.

Do you really think you can just "leave" a country, especially during a world war?

Are you trying to say Japan didn't play a role in the nuking?
User avatar #1606 - CreativeCoding (06/29/2012) [-]
Their military and government played a huge role, which did result in the bombings. The civilians, however, did not have any role in this and did not deserve to die.

I kinda figured out how it works too...

"t": "anonymous replied to your comment <a href=\"/funny_pictures/1941293/i/4#4\">#4</a> on \"<a href=\"funnyjunk.com/funny_pictures/1941293/i/\">i hate cleverbot</a>\"",
"tt": "11",

i = ID (don't know what that's for)
t = text
tt = type of reply or something (11=reply, 1=sent you a friend request, 2=accepted friend request. That's all I know for now)
n = if it's new or not, I think. 0 = old

In case you're still working on fjmobile, which I doubt, I found a way to login.
I figured if you haven't added it yet you either don't know how or gave up, but imma post anyway.
Just send a POST request to www.funnyjunk.com/members/a... with
username=derp&password=herp&usrgmttime=your current GMT time in UNIX format

I'm working on an app, but I thought I'd share this because dicks.

haha yeah I remember that. Unfourtunatly, I've been lacking in work recently. School n **** . Plus I have a ******** of paying jobs put on me (finally getting done with that) so all of my personal projects were pretty much cut.

Thanks for the info, that's actually what I was stuck on. I probably still am though... I already knew about the webpage ajax page for logging in. The only problem is, is that it used to be (like 10 months ago) that you can just give the username and password to the page via URL and it will output something in this kinda format:

STATUS | USERID | USERNAME

This was perfect. A good login will be something like this:

OK | 54254542 | CreativeCoding

This way I can confirm the user owns that account, what his userid is, and to update any changes to his username. But NOW, if a login is successful, it'll return a funnyjunk error. And I hate depending my logins on errors, so I sorta hit a dead end. I'll be defeintly testing those new variables now.

Thanks a ton dude. If I ever get it done, you'll be congratulated.
