I agree. If you make it harder for one person to get a gun, and he decides:

a) I'll go after a crowd of people with a knife, or

b) It's not worth it because I'll never kill enough people to get famous and it's much harder to stab someone to death than shoot them

Then making it harder to get guns in general was worth it. I'm sorry that it took an extra month for some guy to make his tiny penis feel bigger by waving a gun around, but that's why extenze is legal. Just ask Smilin' Bob if he needs a gun to feel like a man.

I'm not saying someone needs a gun to feel like a man.. i own firearms. i hunt with them and that's about it. my handgun is always within reaching distance but i never once have been pissed off enough at the world to want to go out and start shooting random people.. i saw someone make a great point earlier about what has happens to groups of people without the protection of said firearms but also the large con that they bring ie the mass shootings and senseless murders. at this point. I as a citizen feel that arguing about a gun policy in america is along the lines of arguing with someone about politics and religion. no matter what you say or do there will always be someone sharing or disapproving of your views. and that will always provide room for conflict. I can't be the only one who is getting sick of this country. (yeah i know almost everywhere else sucks too. but living here we see the blunt ends of our societies actions) and its saddening.

And yes I was being sarcastic. None of those instances ended with someone actually using a gun for defense. Most of them ended when the gunman got sick of shooting people and busted one in his own face.

Yeah that's why i was kind of inbetween not sure and sure because the giffords case i hadn't previously heard about.. but my point remains.. if someone were to truly lose it. i would rather them off themselves before hurting anyone else. but if push came to shove i'm sure most people would take a couple deaths over the double digits most of those shootings had. i may sound cynical saying that.. but i guess that's just one persons view on the world.
