If theres one thing i've learned on FJ that i haven't learned in school is that lots of people have an odd sence of humor... and addition/subtraction.

I would just stick with the basics memes, nostalgia, etc..

i fell ya. I've been trying to think of some OC and trying to make inside jokes me and my freinds have into content, but it's hard lol
i have one up, but i don't think anyone else will find it funny. i havent been back to see the view/ like/dislike count yet lol.

I would stay away from inside jokes on FJ because you and your friends are the only ones that get them, so the people reading the post would feel lost or confused. Also if you make it too wordy people might tl;dr and then skip. So I would wait a bit lurk and see what people find funny then try your hand at something similar.
