I know, but comparing death rates caused by cigarettes, alcohol and heroin etc. with MJ is ridiculous. If you barely smoked cigarettes, it wouldn't do anything. The difference, though, is that smoking cannabis just once could cause serious shit. It's much more of a gamble than with cigarettes in the same amount.

Depends on how you smoke it. I wrote an essay on this. Vaporization and cooking/eating methods cause no physical damage anywhere. Vaporization heats the weed up right below the combustion point so that it just smokes, and doesn't catch fire. It's when it catches fire that causes all of the problems and actually damages your lungs. The reason test for lung damage varies so much is because of the method of smoking. Theres vaporization, pipe, and rolling. Those are in order from least to most damaging.

Schizophrenia is a genetic disease passed down through generations, The link between schizophrenia comes from the fact that most patients use the drug. it is unclear however if the drug is the cause or if they use it to shut the voices up (my uncle was schizophrenic and this is the explanation he gave me as to why he would smoke weed)
As for it having 7 times as much tar than a cigarette it has 3, and if vaporized none of that is inhaled, as tar does not turn into steam.
What is worse than children that know nothing about the subject is people who went to health class and think they know everything about the subject.

I'm not talking about schizophrenia, I'm talking about what whothehellareyou was talking about above. And it's not just fucking tar that's bad for your lungs, it's a bunch of different chemicals. Besides, the lungs are not the only things suffering from it. Oh, okay, so something that was taught in school should be dismissed because you obviously know better. What kind of sources do you have that pot isn't bad? I'm guessing internet and friends, and we all know the internet should always be trusted, right? No, I'm a part of a medical family, and I've been taught from an early age by my parents (chief of medicine, chief nurse), my school, which takes this very seriously and has whole weeks dedicated to these issues etc. about this. I dare you to source me any kind of medical expert that says anything but bad things about MJ. Sure, when used for medical purposes, I'm fine with it, as long as it's used in a conllorted way, prescribed by a doctor. I won't reply anymore, because I know there's no use to this at all.

i hate to get involved, all my friends are potheads so i dont care if you smoke it or what, but its true that smoking weed makes you take in more chemicals than smoking cigs. and you can get bad affects smoking it once, but that doesnt happen often.
