I hear they train the IDF to shoot for the pelvis. Breaking the pelvic bones means they can't keep attacking, and all the arteries down there means they will probably bleed out.

Even if you hit the chest and the person dies, it could take a few minutes and they're probably still able to attack.

I havn't heard about the IDF using that approach, it sounds very effective. But in this case, especially for E.D.C. and conventional means of stopping a target, it's good to aim center mass.

Common misconception. If you get grazed on the the ass, then by all means, yeah it's safe. But if you mean to AIM at the ass, then completely not safe. The Pelvis has a high risk of fracturing, and when it does, the person suffering has an EXTREMELY limited time until internal bleeding causes hemorrhagic shock and death. The current mortality rate for pelvic fracture, with open access to a medical team is ~30%-50%, and that's just a fracture, not to mention that the person now has a bullet in them on top of that
