Not a ballistics expert, but I assume thats what that massive brake on the end is for.

After all, a simple brake on our .338 Lapua made it kick about the same as my SKS, before it was worse than a brakeless .50

Barrel length has no effect on whether or not a gun can be fitted with a bull-pup design all it does is set the trigger assembly forward of the bolt and receiver not behind like normal guns. The only problem I could see with this gun is that the recoil would be hellacious from such a light-weight platform.

I understand that works for most bullpup guns, but is that as practical for something with such a long barrel?
User avatar #232 - LuckyStrikes (07/15/2012) [-]
The barrel, and receiver set are more balanced in this variant of the barret, thus, they allow for less strain on the core muscles to keep the gun balanced. This, in turn, allows for longer, more sustained use of the weapon, as well as giving the versatility of using the gun in areas and positions which don't allow the user to lie down. Not to mention it makes the .50 cal look more bad ass.
User avatar #229 - Cartouk (07/15/2012) [-]
Of course that the point of the bull-pup design. Too keep the barrel length of said gun and put it in an overall shorter platform.

Hand on the forward grip resting on your arm just behind the butt stock it would carry like any other rifle.

User avatar #18 to #8 - Captain Confusing (04/23/2010) [-]
yeah, hating black people is totally what our white heritage is all about, right? they can't call us racists for hating black people, we're just embracing our kkk heritage.
User avatar #19 to #18 - Cartouk (04/23/2010) [-]
Your a dumbass the KKK didn't come up with the stars and bars nor is it their standard. It was the battle flag for the confederacy. That is my heritage my great-great-great grandfather fought for the confederates in the civil war and that is how i honor his memory. So stfu ,,!,, -_-,,!,,
User avatar #9 to #8 - LightSlayer (04/17/2010) [-]
why?
User avatar #10 to #9 - Cartouk (04/17/2010) [-]
Because I am from the south and I display the rebel flag people called me a racist. So I decided if thats what they call thats what I'll be.
User avatar #11 to #10 - LightSlayer (04/17/2010) [-]
so do you acully hate black pepole
User avatar #12 to #11 - Cartouk (04/17/2010) [-]
Depends on the person. I judge by personality rather than color but most blacks I've met are ignorant ******* and i dislike them extremely, but I have met quite a few intelligent blacks that i have the utmost respect for.
