Hmm. Maybe some of us are at school or work, where they have strict regulations about logging in to foreign sites (even though for some unknown reason they will allow us to visit these sites) so we are left with no choice but to comment/rate as an anon? Did you ever think about that? No? Didn't think so.

Oh, or maybe people don't want to create an account because they realize douchebags on here will take everything they say out of context and smear the account name on the web, leaving them even more vulnerable to hacking than usual. Didn't think of that, either, did you?

Or maybe we're someone important (unlike you) in the real world and don't want people potentially recognizing us via a user-name, which could be dangerous.
