Well there are lots of cases of people switching back and forth by choice. For example, my mom was straight for 24 years, then became a lesbian for 20 years, then went back to being straight. And even if orientation wasn't a choice, we still have the ability to choose who we have sex with, regardless of who we're attracted to. The Bible doesn't say anything about being attracted to the same sex, it just says don't fuck people of the same sex.

Not necessarily. When Jesus was talking about marriage, some people said it's probably a better idea to not even get married, and Jesus said that not everyone can handle the rules of marriage, and those people make themselves eunuchs. That's not to say that people should be cutting off they're balls, but He means that if you can't abide by the rules He has set, then you should refrain from having sex, because that would be better than having immoral sex.

I'm not referring to Leviticus, because that's part of Mosaic Law and we don't apply Mosaic Law anymore because Jesus made it obsolete (I have a source explaining in detail why this is the case). But in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Paul reminds the Corinthians that homosexuality is still sinful, and unless you put your loyalty to Christ above your submission to sin, you will not be able to enter heaven.

Consider the very first sin. God made a very simple rule: Don't eat this fruit, or you will surely die. Now, the fruit itself was probably harmless. It wasn't poisonous or otherwise dangerous to eat as far as fruits go. However, God told them not to eat it, and they did anyway. So God punished them. The fruit didn't punish them, because there was nothing inherently wrong with it. They were punished because they disobeyed God. Plain and simple. In the same way, God commands us to not engage in homosexual activity, and even though it's possible to have gay sex without any physiological danger, it's still a violation of God's law. That's why it's immoral.

Yea, pretty much. I was raised Baptist and we were taught that all sins are equal and forgivable. The only sin I'm not sure about is suicide, because obviously you can't repent for it afterwards. But aside from that, all sins can be forgiven if you seek Christ's forgiveness afterwards. Of course, it's important to understand the difference between momentary sin and lifestyle sin (those are the official terms for it, I'm just calling them that). For example, if you steal something, but then feel bad about it and seek forgiveness, Jesus will forgive you. But if you make a habit of stealing, and continue to steal, then He can't forgive you because you're not repenting. That's what causes a lot of confusion with the gay issue. Some people think that Jesus will forgive them for being gay, but then they continue to be gay, and just assume it will be okay because Jesus forgives everyone. But by continuing a sinful lifestyle, they're placing their sin above the importance of Christ, and thereby preventing Him from cleansing them. To receive forgiveness we must try not to sin, so that we can put Christ above everything else in our life.

Though I do have another question, unrelated but about Christian's beliefs, if the Devil punishes evil souls, why is he the bad guy?
Is it because he makes the souls evil?

We consider Satan evil because he tempts humans and poisons their hearts. I don't recall the Bible saying that he actually punishes evil souls, but rather that he just inhabits hell where souls are punished. Although I haven't memorized the entire Bible so I may be wrong about that. But my understanding was that he is just another tortured soul, being punished like everyone else in hell. The only difference is that he, being a supernatural entity, has the power to influence humans from within hell. But that's just my own interpretation. I'm probably thinking too much of Dante's Inferno where Satan is more of a prisoner of hell than a ruler.

No, this isn't about the kid with the gun. The kid with the gun isn't even suspended. The kid who stopped the guy with the gun was suspended for not cooperating with police, but imo that doesn't really have anything to do with the school and suspensions a weird punishment for that anyway. If they really want to pressure him into cooperating with the police, wouldn't the possible jail time for obstruction of justice work better?
