It's just that your original comment sounded obnoxious. Maybe instead of blaming the Atheists for not knowing the answers when you also don't know the answers but instead decide that God made the universe(s), it just seems kinda stupid. You shouldn't be deciding that God did this or that, regardless of religion. You should be researching and figuring out stuff and trying to decide: did God really do that or is there a logical explanation for it? Just look at history. You have to admit, not deciding that God did everything and there's no other way has had a positive effect on progress. And science isn't exclusive to Atheists. Christians and Atheists and Agnostics, and a bunch of other people are all scientists and do science in the name of knowledge. The difference between them and people who just simply believe in one thing and won't be persuaded by the other possibilities is that these scientists usually are open to the idea that many different things could have happened - factors, reactors, etc.
