What this is mostly meant to argue is that there are a lot of arguments slung about assault weapons being too easily accessed to US civilians. I was clarifying slightly, but not adequately enough, that there is a massive difference in assault rifles/machine guns and more common hunting weapons or home defense/concealed weapons.

Not to mention a rather large up rise to straight out ban guns in general throughout the US. Although unrealistic, tight restrictions are enacted in areas throughout the nation in high population areas that make it very difficult to even own a home defense pistol.

I know this. But all I hear about from friends is that a ban is coming.
I felt the need to do this, since I have friends on this site who would appreciate it.

there is no way a ban would even pass. all the patriots and liberals would flip the fuck out. civil war is a bit extreme, but definitely possible breaking an amendment like that. the government isnt that retarded. the most theyd do is put up the clinton gun ban. and that probably wont get finalised anyway
