I can see where you're coming from however Tarentino doesn't write films to send messages, he writes films that send messages. The messages are not the core of the films, the stories and the entertainment that comes from them are what is important. However at the same time we see films like Django and Basterds having some very powerful scenes like the whipping of Brunhilda and the killing of the officer.
Because of this approach Tarentino rarely tells us how to feel about the movies and what goes on inside them, rather he presents us with a scenario and you make of it what you will. Even the continual showing of the negatives of slavery in Django have some parts where it is easier to see where the white men are coming from. The black lady that shows Django around isn't very smart and throughout the film we're rarely shown times where the slaves are seen to be overly intelligent or willful other than with Django and Brunhilda. Because of this you can see how the cultural beliefs that black = inferior came about. However we don't see them as inferior because we see human beings as human beings, something that didn't happen back then. Ultimately the film never really analyses slavery in favour of telling the story of a couple of slaves and letting the messages come about naturally.
The same is true of Basterds. There is no dwelling upon the point nor are we ever really told how to feel about the events going on in the film. When we see Pitt carve a swastika into Waltz' head we aren't told 'he deserves this' or 'this is inhumane'. We are just shown what happens and allowed to make our decision and the one most people come to is that it is really fucking funny.
Similarly none of the Nazis that are portrayed as regular people are focussed on past the point when they need to be because it begins to become detrimental to the story. The only one that does get some focus is the sniper and even then, not much.
In the end, the film is built not to teach, but to entertain.

Getting a hunting license is a decently extensive process even here in Virginia where hunting is pretty prominent. It is definitely a lot easier than in Germany because we don't have all the red tape surrounding guns, but you still have to learn some safety measures and what you can and can't kill.
