Ah yes, because a book that promotes the stoning of rebellious sons, says you can't wear clothes of mixed fabrics, and claims that the Sun revolves around the Earth is obviously just chock full of the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth...sure. When's the last time you read the Bible, dumplin'?

Surely the churning of milk bringeth forth butter, and the wringing of the nose bringeth forth blood Proverbs 30:33 (if you twist some ones nose...it will bleed.... unless im mistaken thats true...)
By what way is the light parted, which scattereth the east wind upon the earth? Job 38:24 ( the Light Causes the wind....thats true...)

and as for your stoning and and clothing...not that you cant you shouldn't

And the Sun ( Joshua 10:12-14 ) States Joshua Prayed that the sun and moon stay still for him to finish...and also that there was no day like its...
( Psalm 19:6 ) states the sun rises from one end of heaven to the other.....
The bible does not suppose geocentric theory i'm sorry for your ignorance..

As for your statements regarding mine about the Sun...well, darlin', if the Bible says the Sun is stopped in the sky (not, mind you, that the revolution of the Earth was halted, but that the Sun. was. stopped.) then that is, indeed, excellent evidence that the people who wrote the Bible put in it what they believed--namely, that the Earth was the center of the Universe--instead of scripture being the direct word of the Lord. Using sections of the Bible that support my statement is hardly the best way to prove my supposed ignorance.

As long as that remains obvious, I think I'm going to stick to trusting logic and the scientific method instead of the often mistranlated words of a bunch of people that died centuries ago.

Well i have to admit you made me laugh....(Don't wanna know why you called me darling) ....You will not change your opinion and neither will I ( tho i still disagree with your opinion on the bible and geocentric theory...)

But i do have to say that inherently the bible is infallible And your opinions of it are flawed but...you believe them becuz you want to....

Knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts ( 2 peter 3:3 )

Agree to disagree, then? :) I'll vote for science, you vote for the Bible, and if I'm wrong, I'll give you a cookie in the Last of Days.

I called you "darlin'" because it seemed to be the nicer of the sarcastic names my brain had come up with, lol. Blame it on my vaguely Southern location.

The examples of "rightness" in the Bible stem from the observations and knowledge of the people of that day, not the infallibility of the whole book. I'm not saying not a single thing in there is right, just that it shouldn't be treated as unquestionable law.
The Bible doesn't say that you shouldn't stone your rebellious son, but that if he rebels, you are to take him to the gates of the town and stone him unto death.
It also says you shouldn't eat pork, not because that was a crime unto the Lord, but because it helped keep the Jewish faith from dissipating into the surrounding peoples while they were without a territory. Proof, thereby, that the supposed Rule of the Lord is influenced by the people who write it.

That's really only an opinion. Personally, I think the bible is a load of bull. You sir, probably think it's all 100% true.
