No, vegetarians and meat-eaters live, on average, about the same amount of time. But here's an interesting fact: Meat eaters have higher risk of heart disease, osteoporosis, cancer, type 2 diabetes and various other diseases.

The higher risk levels are only if you eat fatty meats in high proportions, If you have a nice healthy balance then the risk is quite small
