The whole Idea of democracy is the people understand whats best for them. You don't think that's true maybe you shouldn't live in one.

Also, I'm not going to do the leg wok for you. The EU is a burning ship, if you don't already know that then maybe you should look up "arguments for bretix" I'm not going to type a huge rant your not even going to read.

No, the idea of democracy is the people can decide whatever, but they don't have to understand it.
Obviously in this case the people DON'T know what's good for them.
Working class people in this country benefit from legislation the EU provides
that protects them from being fucked by the businesses they work for, or indeed
our own Tory government (which now doesn't seem to be going anywhere).
The EU provided business and welfare, the exact things the working classes need.
And now it's gone. Because of 'muh sovreignity'.

'Scuse me for maybe seeming like an ass . . . but if the best thing Britain got from the EU was its legislation, why can Britain not legislate those exact same things on its own?

Really good point - because the government rarely has the working class' interests at heart, since it usually involves spending a fair bit of money.

My biggest hope with the whole Brexit thing, is that they have voted to effectively overthrow the EU's control of their country . . . and - hoping against hope - when Brexit doesn't solve their problems, they will then maybe realize that their own government is far more overreaching than Brussels ever was . . . and then maybe, just maybe, they will get down to the business of really liberalizing their economy so the thing can work again . . .

And then maybe, Hopefully, the rest of the continent follows suit . . .

Thanks for that breath of fresh air m8.

I needed it when some cunts in the comments thought they could claim the vote out was in FAVOUR of the working class and poor.

Holy fuck, are you retarded?

They get all the hate because they come to the west and try to force their own insane beliefs and ideals on our culture, which is exactly the shit they are "running away from" in the first place.

But if you truly, TRULY believe, they are being hated, JUST because they are a minority, then I don't want to waste more of my time trying to explain it to you.

No it isn't. You suffer from something known as progressivism. You've become so blinded by ideals you refuse to accept the realities of human nature.
#151 - restfullwicked (06/24/2016) [-]
oh really, human nature is it? thats why when that cunt bough an aids treatment and charged 200 a pill another company made a close second for 2 dollers per?
its why an old man spent decades hacking his way through a mountainside so his village could get medical treatment?
no, charlie chaplin had it right. We want to help eachother, but greed has poisoned our souls and bought bitterness of those who fear human progress because of selfishness.

Yes, greed as a natural thing in this world, people do it, so is compassion. And it's in everyone, and you, and me. Get over it.

i am shocked at my kinsmen and have no excuse for their actions. nigel farrage and borris johnson have whipped this country into a frenzy, borris swapped sides on the issue because it meant david cameron would probably quit and he is almost being handed PM on a silver plate. a man in manchester this morning said something like "i didnt think my vote mattered so i voted leave and now im really worried" both sides have campaigned really poorly and 90% of people voting leave have no fucking idea what the EU actually does only that it has something to do with immigration.

i thought my homeland was smarter than this, guess thats what happens when you believe in people.

and on top of all of that, the scotland independence campaign is about to come back like a fucking cancer and a bunch of other countries are considering their own votes to leave and is about to cause another global recession.

im all for fucking dictatorships at this point because i frankly cant trust people to know whats best for them.
