i beat the entire game but i could not beat the second half of the final boss

i had the fuckign chaus blade, a ninja, 2 magic users that kicked ass, everything! i could not scratch that guy!

All my guys were like lvl 23+, I had Tao, Anri, Alef, and Domingo, Khris, Lowie, and Toreasu, Max was 26 with the Chaos Breaker, Musashi, Hanzou Balbory and Luke. So basically, A blaze mage, 2 Freeze mages, a bolt mage, 4 melee fighters. I didn't have any of my rangers, but it didn't matter, cause I pwn. :D
All of them were promoted btw. I'd train like hell every time I got a new guy I wanted to skill.

He just has about 300 health or so. Anything above 99 shows as ??, so just keep pounding. Oh, and since he's a boss, Darksoul can regenerate 20-40HP every 3 or 4 turns.

Yeah, when I was about 6, I got the Sega CD for Christmas. It came with not only Shining Force, but also Comix Zone and many other awesome games.

Yes, although I could never beat Kid Chameleon or Comix Zone. I somehow made it to the final boss of Kid Chameleon but always got my ass handed to me.

I hear ya. I got em all on the KegaFusion emulator and decided to hack the fuck out of 'em. At one point, I had most of Shining Force's hex memorized and could have max start out at a promoted lvl 99 with over 1000 HP/MP with the chaos breaker, power ring any other items, bolt/blizz/blaze4 and whatever the highest aura was, (I forgot, it's either 4 or 2) I spent a shitload of time on that game :D
