They won't improve much past what we have already. Video games cost money to make. Way more than they used to. And a lot of games don't even break even. See darksiders 2. Awesome game. Tons of sales. They actually made a loss on it. Unfortunate but true.

I strongly believe costs will go down, a positive side effect of the very unfortunate education bubble, highly skilled and qualified people will be working for much less.

By then I think video games will be a hell of a lot more interactive too.
