Well, I mean Gordon was just doing an experiment, and everything went to shit and he had to fight his way out with a crowbar, fighting zombies, aliens, AND the army just to be teleported to an alien world to defeat a huge fucking demented alien baby thing. Then he's put into some sort of sleep by a guy who treats him like property. He wakes up to find out the whole world has gone to shit and has to fight through more zombies and soldiers from the police state that has taken over, being shoved around by the guy who thinks he owns him, and the aliens he fought in Black Mesa. The only upside to being him is that he brings hope, and even then he's asked to do EVERYTHING while every one else sits around except for Alyx. He doesn't even have the guards on his side anymore. then at the end he sees the guy he went through tons of shit to protect get stabbed through the head out of nowhere. And Lamar was launched into space D: But, hey. It's a matter of opinion.

that's all correct. but I think the fact that you said "gordon has to do everything" is a little ridiculous. Isaac literally gets paired up with like 10 different people and they make him do all the dangerous shit and they still end up getting themselves killed

You were playing the one where he's trying to save his girlfriend, which he finds out is dead, and is haunting him and trying to kill him, and during that whole time he's fighting off an zombie-alien horde that is created from humans. And he has to kill human babies and children, then he wakes up in a hospital after being unconcious for 3 years and is horribly traumatized from everything, just to have to fight a zombie-alien horde again?
