not necessarily. I might be wrong but it looks a little dark to be deoxygenated. I don't know if blood taken intravenously gets exposed to oxygen or not, but it does kind of look like it's oxygenated.

that's venous, i think intravenous is the other way around taken from arteries not veins. could be wrong like I said, not too sure how blood samples are taken other tan needle goes in blood comes out hehe

yea and its not like they are harvesting that blue stuff for a parfume or anything,
its actually used for detecting endotoxins which are an effect of leftover bacteria that survived sterelization in lets say an intravenous needle that goes in your arm.
