Hey guys, definitely stop asking me where
my "ice bucket" video is. I responded to the

******* point.

I honestly don't see a problem with the whole ice bucket thing. Because of how strange it is it works as an attention grabber on the subject of ALS. It also provides a goofy thing for people to connect with over such a grim subject.

Steve-o makes a really good point. People are using this challenge as more of an attention whore then anything. Unlike the cinnamon challenge where people do it out of pure stupidity, this ice "challenge" is ******* easy as hell to do and the people who do it for attention/likes on facebook have a reason to do it, for ALS except every ******* video I've seen has never explained with als is or where to donate. That is the problem. People are taking advantage of a situation that's supposed to be good to their own "benefits." I'm not posting in anon because I'm scared of red thumbs, I simply just don't have an account. I lurk all day son.

Well **** ...That made me hate the world a little more.
Although hearing about how much freaking money that's being donated I can overlook the minority of people that are un-informed.

Oh don't be such cynical bastards, its just a bit of fun to give some money and raise awareness on a pretty grim thing, and I have to say, I didn't really know about ALS before this whole thing, so I'd say its working. And its cool to see famous/important people do funny stuff outside of interviews and movies etc.

Gee, remember planking? Remember harlem shake? Remember that milk thing?
After this, I wonder what stupid **** will come next.
I hope it's pistoling, where you get your dad's semiauto and play russian roulette with yourself.

double action. you're thinking of double action.

With Russian Roulette, the point is that only one of the chambers is loaded and you don't know which will fire, a semiautomatic always fire. Whether or not the revolver is double action is irrelevant. A double action revolver will cock the hammer back automatically when the trigger is pulled, a single action revolver need the hammer cocked back each time it is fired.

we're not all rednecks like you yknow. not all our dads have semi-automatics.

Game Grumps made an Ice bucket video and when they were done they explained that each of them was personally donating one thousand dollars to als research.

I guess now that celebs are on it, you either donate celeb money (like 10k$ or something) or make a video so your fans see and donate (so your fanbase raises aobout 10k$) and you just donate I don't even know what I'm talking I can't type I'm off the internet right now.
User avatar #7 to #6 - nudybooty (08/19/2014) [-]
Oh. Every youtuber who I have seen do it donated and dumped ice on themselves

Going the extra mile is often the best decision when you're in the eyes of the masses.

actually, how it originally started out, was that someone challenged you. and you either do the ice or dont do the ice and donate lets say $10.

but if you do the ice, then the person that challenged you has to donate the $10
