"because we need resources" or "because we want glory"?

For those who think war brings glory, it is not what they fight for. The fight itself brings glory, honor between two people or two groups fighting. Rather I believe its not a race for resources, its to protect what we hold dear. I don't think someone in the trenches, or fighting in a hot, humid God forsaken place would do so because they want glory, resources, or honor. Its more likely they have a small locket, or idea that they keep with them to remind them why they fight.

Not everyone works for the government. Its easy to talk of war, losing a friend to a bullet, shells used and civilians killed that day as a cause of explosive debris when you're behind a desk.

less people in the world
less people to kill each other

scopes dont have to be on rifles, they are used to ad zoom to iron sights. you can potentially put a scope on whatever you want. its usually only found on rifles because they typically shoot at long distance targets. however you can put it on a Gatling gun if you want. still shoot at far away targets with a Gatling gun

The surname is now found commonly throughout Britain and Ireland (often spelled "Rodgers"), particularly in southern and western England and also in Scotland and Wales. The surname was taken to Ireland in Cromwellian times, where it became used as an Anglicisation of the Gaelic name Mac RuaidhrĂ, an Irish name meaning "son of red king".
