I got as far as the last part of the story, nevermind how much sidequests I didn't, and still haven't done, in my current playtrough.

I started a new game, to cool down from a boss that would kill itself and your party if it itself was close to death.

Short story, I ended up overwriting a savegame I'd worked for over a year on.

It was pandemonium

At least if the **** froze during a cutscene you could just open and close the disc tray

My brothers disk would crash after you beat the final boss! We need closure

Hardest part of that game. Ever get 100/100 on that?

I managed 100/100 about six months ago. It turns out it's not all just mashing as fast as possible. It's kind of keeping a good rhythm and button presses within a second of the button coming up. Of course, no missed hits help as well.

Me too. I can't finished it on PSone, even with Gameshark codes. I was stuck at Disc 4, fighting that Maliris boss at Memoria. Jetfire KO'd the entire party.
But then, this year, I d'loaded EPSX, and finished it. My entire party have Body Temp to counter that threat.

Love final fantasy 9, ironically I have a second copy of it that is missing the third disk.

**karvarausku rolled image** You think that is harsh? I had FF8 with my brothers and we had loaned the disc #1, because we were already on the other cd:s... So when the save datas got lost / corrupted we could never start again, because my brothers friend never returned the disc :c

Best Final Fantasy after VI, honestly. **** FFVII, I don't really understand all the people praising it, I didn't like it that much.

For me FFVII was the beginning of the end. Game was awesome don't get me wrong but thats when they started making it super Japanese Which wasn't bad for FFVII which paved the path to make atrocious FFXIII. I really prefered the midevil esque with my fav being FFIV and FFV.
