Well at the end of the day I LIKE ESO, and that's all that matters to me.

Because its adding stuff that's somewhat game affecting and putting it behind a pay wall, then with WoW when you buy the expansion the only thing youre missing out on from the collector's edition and that kind of thing is a mount and pet. Not an entire race

I heard ESO was pretty bad..

If you have a friend to play with, it greatly increases the fun. But all in all its an enjoyable game. **** those cunts who say its a generic mmo. And **** those people who say its a bad TES game.

because it is a golden mix of both, there is nothing generic about it. It's new and its fresh and I love it.

I agree with this guy, I'm loving the game! People are just being pissy about the game, but people will always be pissy about new game releases. Nothing much to do but ignore them and enjoy the **** out of the game!

Remember when they talked about making multiplayer/co-op for skyrim. Well.... we got ESO instead.

ESO isn't a bad game per say, it's just not a great one. There has been so much hype and expectation built up over an Elder Scrolls MMO that it almost made it an impossible task. In the past whenever myself or anyone else thought of ESO we automatically pictures Skyrim/Oblivion with lots of other people running about. Unfortunately they couldn't deliver on that promise. IMHO play Guild Wars 2, cheaper in the long run and they keep dishing out content on a regular basis.

probably not going to be that good tho

Not as great as everyone makes it out to be

I'm about to play it for the first time in a few minutes, I used to be on the bandwagon of people saying it was **** who hadn't even played it or watched gameplay. But it's a massive fantasy open-world MMOrpg I can play with my best online friend and a few others, what's wrong with that?

And if you want to critisise it, make sure you have some proof or experience to back it up.

My brother and I were going to play the beta, but mine ****** out during the download and I didn't even get a chance to play. He said it was ********* , though. So no loss.

Seems like hating ESO is the new band wagon.

Everyone I hear that dislikes it hasn't played the actual game, only the beta (which I liked)
I was skeptical because I like ES for the story assets and exploration, things MMOs typically don't do too well, ES games have always had god awful combat in my opinion, but the ESO combat I do enjoy.
Also 15$/m is no problem if you get a job you damn hippie

I don't own the game because I'm going to have no access to a computer for a while, anyone that actually owns the game want to give me opinions? Especially on PVP and instances (dungeons or whatever eso calls them)

Concidering my initial negativity towards the game, it didnt turn out as bad as I feared. Been enjoying it so far.
