"and he is holding the Erlenmeyer flask way too close to his face."
It's not like he can keep it much further from his face with limbs like that

Is that actually what its called in English? Erlenmeyer flask? We do have that name for it in Danish too, but its been replaced with an easier to prononce word, and the only people who still call it an Erlenmeyer flask are pretentious dickweeds, who thinks they're all the ******* science for knowing antiquated names of things...

I know its named after the dude who invented it. I wasn't curious as to the nature of the word, but rather if you hadn't invented a different word for it.
I just looked it up, and it turns out you can also call it a "Conical flask" in English. Thats pretty much the only thing we call it in Danish.
Also, i supose by "Hoover" you are refering to a vacuum cleaner? Which I never even knew could be called a "Hoover".

Why the **** is Erlen's and a microscope on the same table?.. Proffesor would kill me if I did something stupid like that.. anyways.. and for what is that microscope needed anyways? I highly doubt that cat is doing something with biological material so the microscope is not needed.
