The bureaucrats are what they are called.
The ones who does whatever they need to get a good position(for money or for power) then does everything to keep it.
Doesn't matter if that something they need to do is immoral or not really good in the long run.
But thats the bureaucrats, there will always be goverment officials who work only to better the times they live in as well, whether they are heard and notices is a different matter.

This is the stupidest thing I have ever seen, the government is full of multiple points of view. Sure a group of them are working solely to make their life better, but quite a few are trying to improve yours as well. This comic is ****** in its metaphor, in its drawing, and in its watermark.

I'm not bothered that you stole it off 9gag.
Depending on how long ago this was posted (recently enough that I remember this), I'm also bothered that you stole it. FJ needs OC, and if they can see the same stuff on other sites, they probably won't come here.

Nah, I saw this ages ago. Not even from 9gag, just the watermark.
User avatar #35 to #31 - witislimited (02/19/2014) [-]
Heh. As cocky as it sounds, I honestly thought I was the only one who remembers reposts from 2, 3 years ago.

See, 9gag merely reposted the content from someone who actually makes good content (probably reddit) and put their watermark on it. Therefore it's actually reddit content with the 9gag watermark.

We hate 9gag so ******* much for being the repost central of the world, yet we repost their **** . What does that make us?

I'm going to be honest with you gentlemen and admit I haven't the faintest idea what this picture is supposed to depict. Anyone kind enough to explain? Thanks in advance.

Selfishness, they are making smaller one manned boats for themselves instead of being selfless and sharing it with each other.
User avatar #14 to #13 - trollmobile ONLINE (02/19/2014) [-]
they tear apart their boat to make more boats
but in doing so, they basically just **** themselves over, because the smaller boats can't take the storm.

solves might not be the right word here...

Kind of seems like a good idea, if I was on a sinking boat and had the ability/time to make another smaller raft to save myself I would.
I should get a government job?
User avatar #9 to #6 - secretdestroyers ONLINE (02/19/2014) [-]
More concerned with saving your own ass? Hell yes, you're ready to work for the government!
#20 to #9 - anonymous (02/19/2014) [-]
Well, there's nobody else on the boat in the image, so it really is a good idea because there's nobody else to be screwing over.

Sure, it's a good way to save yourself, but there's a reason it's called public service.

Please give a specific example how the government has ever done something like this.

There was this one incident back in like 1866 where the senate were traveling up the coast via boat when a storm hit. The senate proceeded to make individual boats to save themselves.

The joke is that each one is working only to save himself
User avatar #10 to #4 - sciencexplain ONLINE (02/19/2014) [-]
This was reposted from 9gag. You really think they knew what it meant? They most likely just reposted it through the internet because it made them seem politically educated and that's what happened here.

#32 to #21 - anonymous (02/19/2014) [-]
It's probably illegal celebrity porn.

You know, that stuff people stand outside peoples windows with a super camera to get.
