Wouldn't the meat be contaminated with metal vapors which it would absorb?

For all you guys wondering about this (whether the steak tastes like **** , is too toxic to eat, it's molten metal, not lava, etc.) I found an article:

Everyone is talking about how this would destroy the meat....it is actually said to be the best way to cook steak (for taste, not safety). The intense heat locks in the juices (it doesn't make it evaporate you ********* that keep saying that it would) really well. I for one will not be trying this at home, but if anyone is ever making it this way and selling it, I will be all for it.

I work for a railroad and every once in a while if they're running a long distance train crews will walk back to the engine room and put a pizza or some chicken on top of the motor and let it cook for a little while. Tastes a bit funky but it's better than no food at all.

This is stupid... The juices from the beef would just ruin all that metal. What a retard.
