eminem is garbage and has been since after the eminem show.
Old Eminem wouldn't rap with P!nk, Wayne or Rihanna.
Old Eminem wouldn't say Paul Wall and Bubba are dope.
Old Eminem wouldn't use beats as bad as on Recovery
Old Eminem would stick to Dre
Old Eminem wouldn't rap songs for 12 year old kids.
Old Eminem would NOT rap with Nicki Minak.
New Eminem has nothing to rap about exept how he fell off and now he's back.
How he was addicted to drugs.
Old Eminem was dark
New Eminem is bubble gum pop.

Eminem: 4 Good Albums (Infinite, MMLP, SSLP, ES)
3 Bad ( Encore, Relapse & Recovery)

Tupac wasn't that great. No disrespect to the guy, but I don't think he was half of what people make him out to be today. I feel that he was just a normal rapper, who got sudden over-hype because of his terrible and unfortunate death.

No Tupac was just good. In terms of lyrical skill and poetic ability he was very, very good. That's why he was popular. Years after his death his music is still great.

now comes the question:

are there any good to awesomely great rappers out there now?
i don't know where to search since my comfort zone of hip hop is the old stuff

Old New York? try Pro Era. Only complaint I really hear about them is that they are too throwback, in a gimmicky way. I don't agree with that statement much at all but you should definitely start there.
If you like them, move on to anyone who affiliates themselves as "Beast Coast."

capital steez was great. i am a fan of a lot of pro eras work. they're the only hope for real hip hop to come back imo.

When I was younger I asked my mom who Tupac was. Her reply: "Someone who no one cared about until he died."

I hear a bunch of good stuff about him, but I still haven't really heard anything from him.

Hail Mary Mallon - Garfield Hip hop ain't dead, ************* . As long as we've got Strange Music Inc., Rhymesayers, Def Jux, and a whole lot of other record labels with great artists, we're gonna be just fine.

Some Hail Mary Mallon (Aesop Rock, Rob Sonic and DJ Big Wiz) for y'all

In my opinion we are in the best era of Hip Hop ever.

Wayne definatly started it but theres like hundreds of auto tuned rappers with the same lyrics and stupid names that are also destroying it. just my opinion

All hip hop fans look up Pro Era, Flatbush Zombies, The Underachievers, Freddie Gibbs, Domo Genesis (not all of OF), Ab Soul, Boldy James, Vince Staples, etc. All are solid and still pumping out new stuff. Hip hop isn't dead and Lil Wayne really is not that bad, the Dedication 5 was alright and he free styled most of it
