Actually it can't be two times colder as 0 degrees (celcius or fahrenheit) isn't an absolute minimum.
You can only speak of X times colder or warmer when you use kelvin, where 0 degrees in the absolute lowest possible temperature.

-30 celcius is a typical winter in Canada. The average winter temperatures on mars can reach as low as -80. So I think there's a point here...

I live in Winnipeg and even when it was -31 (it got even colder some days this winter, with some days being almost -50) and we still had to go to school so those kids don't have **** on us
