Top - Ethan Couch: 16 year old year old who stole beer and drove drunk with 6 friends in his truck and accidentally killed a family.
Bottom - Cyntoia Brown: 16 year old who was picked up by a 43 real estate agent to have sex and do drugs which she claims she killed him because she "thought" he was reaching for a gun, went up and took her gun and shot him, took his firearms and truck, and proceeded to go off and then go back the other day to steal more money.

Ethan Couch is definately no saint, but people are overreacting when it comes to his case. It wasn't like he had malice, which judging by people's attitude people think he did seeing how they want severe and harsh punishment for him like he murdered them. He should definately get severely punished for his negligent and should be charged for manslaughter, but the outrage is more of classism and how he got off than what he actually done.

Cynotia Brown doesn't deserve life without parole until 63, but to paint her as a victim is nonesense. I wouldn't say she's a cold-hearted murderer but she isn't some little girl defending herself from an old pedo like your portraying her as. 16 is the age of consent in a lot of states and developed countries, and her defense is hearsay which is hard to defend when she killed the man, stole a bunch of possessions, and went back to get more before getting caught.

Both deserve punishment. **** you OP, and **** everyone who fails to research thesse things through.

450,000 a year to keep him out of jail. My son better get used to the taste of his cellmates scrotum if he thinks i'm paying that to keep his retarded ass out of prison when he deserves it.

one thing was a drunken car accident, the other was man slaughter.
Its about how we judge the information given.

drinking and driving is no accident, it is as much a crime as intended manslaughter.

But can't you see, the first kid suffered from affluenza, a real, diagnosed condition caused by having too much money. He shouldn't get in trouble because he didn't know his actions had consequences.

witnesses reported him driving straight into the old woman and 3 good samaritains who had stopped to help her, he did not crash into them, he turned to hit them specifically.

Best part: the motivation of the lawyer was that he can not take full responsibility for his actions because he was spoiled by his parents and never had to deal with consequences.

< this is even better.

I thought the first one meant that he was charged with yoga, meditation, and horseback riding, and I laughed so hard. It took me a while to understand that this isn't supposed to be funny.

Too bad that the girl then went into hiding after stealing and a ton of goods with a stolen vehicle. Stop believing all the **** you see without doing more re-search first. I swear to god this place is like Fox News sometimes with all of their one-sided ********* .

To be frank, they were milking him for cash. The institute charged 450000 dollars per year. He's sentenced to 10 years, so 4.5 million dollars in an institute rather than a prison.

If I were in prison I would do pushups and read a lot. I'd be jacked and learned.

This is why I could never be a lawyer and I feel kinda sorry for anyone planning on being one, the justice system is just so broken beyond belief it disgusts me that this kind of thing happens all the time
