Ok, so everyone knows that Cory Montieth, star of Glee, died recently. He dies from a drug overdose. Here is where my problem is, he took drugs and died. Now, I have nothing against drugs or people that use them. If you use them, continue as you please. If I die, I cannot feel sorry for you though. There is many scientifical data that shows if you use drugs, you have a chance at dying. You use drugs at your own risk, and Im supposed to think you died a tragic death? Its like Russian roulette. You play for the rush, but there is a chance you will die. There are people in the army that give their lives everyday for you, me and their country, no matter what country it is for. Cory made his choice, and in my mind, it was a bad choice. He took heroin, which you should never get to even if you are into other drugs. Im fine with weed and other light drugs, even though Ive never done them, because it does not seem that harmful to the body and it has a good rush. If you are going to take that big of a chance to die early in life, at least make it something worth dying for. Drugs are never worth dying for.
Sorry, I just had to vent and get that off my chest. I understand if you feel differently, but this is just my honest opinion.
PS. Im only talking about really hardcore drugs, not light stuff like weed or alcohol.
